I met this wonderful family last summer and I was thrilled to hear from them again and share another set of memories with them! Michael is full of wonder and excitement, and Leah has a smile that can be seen for miles. That paired up with fantastic parents who take my instructions in stride (bahahah), is a recipe for beautiful images! Thank you D family!
I met Emerson and her mommy for a quick session in the flowers. Little did we know that we were about to be derailed by miserable rain showers and highway construction. I typically cancel in moments like these (for the rain) but circumstances made it to where I wouldn't be able to come back to the field until after the flowers had already died. Well mother nature showed us her true glory that evening. The rain died down to a mist and skies parted just a sliver so the sun could shine down on Emme. I had to push my camera harder than I've done in a long time but this has to be one of my favorite sets of images ever. Thanks for looking, guys!
I've photographed this amazing family countless amounts of times and each time I love it more than the last. They're naturals in front of the camera, smarties obsessed, and follow "Miss Jen's" rigid instructions when told. This session was absolutely amazing! We hit up different parts of the city and chased the sun for these beauties. There's nothing better than having an amazing time while doing your job (is this real life?!)
We try to hit up the sunflower fields each year and while they always end up being my favorite images of my children, the ever-growing crowds are becoming unpleasant. I waited until the last 20 minutes of sunlight to capture this series of my little ones. The colors, richness, and connection OWN my heart. We're moving soon and I'm thinking I need to make a wall collage from this series!
I cannot deal with this chub! Olive is such a personality...she lights up a room whenever she enters. I definitely think she's our creative soul.
I always know how I want colors in my photos from the beginning of shooting. These definitely needed a warm, film-like, light and airy feel to them. I absolutely love this series and one of her images was featured over at The Happy Togs insta!
This is my third time photographing this family and every time I leave with a giant smile on my face! Eli is the sweetest little guy and full of personality. This time we did a session with the grandparents who were visiting from out of town! You could see the love and pride they had for this little guy, I hope they love these as much as I do.
I know I've featured these images over on my facebook a ton but I love this little series so much!
Aside from tidying my bathroom (ahem, hahahaha), all of these images were taken in 5-7 minutes and I get to love them forever. Little moments like these can be found all over your home which is what makes a lifestyle session so much fun! A sink bath, baking cookies, reading in a nook, playing in the backyard, jumping in puddles, and creating larger than life stories with imagination. Let me take a glimpse in to your little world and freeze time for you!
Where to start?! So many new families this year and I'm thrilled to have met this one for my last photo session of the year. We braved the cold for a beautiful sunrise as the backdrop of their session. I love working with families that show all the love in the world, are willing to give me their best smiles, and put up with my general wackiness.
Thank you G crew!
P.S. GIRLS RULE
Met up with this family for a photo session during the peak weekend of Ohio fall colors! This was my first time working with this crew and I had so much fun. Anya was full of personality and the three (four if you count little brother, in-utero!) of them were magazine worthy! Looking forward to capturing more memories in the future of this lovely family!
I met this adorable family and their pups for the first time for an urban style shoot! Love welcoming new people into the JRP family and they were so much fun to work with and even were graciously understanding about me being a little slower than usual with my broken elbow. Hope to see you soon, S family!
